Hi I'm Kelly, with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry, I bring real-world expertise and passion to every course I teach.
I created Make Me Shine a few years ago but only just recently upgraded to the academy you see today. You're learning from someone who is truly passionate about the industry.
Professional Qualifications
I hold industry-recognised qualifications that ensure you receive the highest standard of training:
- AET (Award in Education and Training) - Ofqual regulated
- CAVA (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) - Ofqual regulated
- Level 4 Beauty Therapy - Currently studying (Ofqual regulated)
- Level 2 SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
- Anaphylaxis & First Aid
All my qualifications are regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, which is the governing body for qualifications in England.
This means you can trust that your training meets the highest national standards. Even when the new regulations come into force.

I also teach each student, how to set up a business from scratch, confidence building and pricing for profit. Meaning they leave knowing how to start up and how to build a successful business. This was not taught to me at all in my career, that is why I now include it in all my courses.
